This Ryegrass was cut June 2024- it's a first cut- it's a very soft grass pale gold in colour, with a hint of green- longer stalks than the 2023 hay.  great for back teeth wear and for keeping bunnies munching. Aids digestion. Suitable as a feeding hay.

Great for  hay balls and hay  racks.

Italian Gold Rye Grass- is entirely natural and is not chopped or pressed. Its natural structure guarantees natural nibbling fun, will keep your pet busy and help with tooth abrasion. The long stalks ensure this hay stays in the hay rack rather and won't fall on the floor and be soiled.

Please note:

Our hay is an untreated product that varies with weather conditions. Varying shades of green, yellow stalks or a paler colour are not signs of inferior quality. Good hay can be distinguished by smell and consistency and how the rabbits eat it.

Suitable for all animal types-even  horses, sheep and Goats.

Italian Ryegrass
Lolium multiflorum
Italian ryegrass is an annual grass that has been introduced from Europe and is cultivated as a meadow, pasture, or lawn grass. Its flowers are borne on short spikelets that alternate on the stem. The seed has a short, thin awn (hair). It is a considered to be a facultative wetland indicator species because it occurs in wetlands as often as it occurs in uplands.

Lovely soft hay

The softest hay I've come across. My bunnies (from Dee) love this hay.

Rabbits love Italian hay

I met Dee when I bought two mini lops from her and I am SO GLAD I did. I have learnt so much about how to properly care for and what to feed and not feed my rabbits. My older mini Rex has benefited hugely from Dee’s advice and knowledge too. This Italian hay is loved by all my rabbits. I never knew one hay from another in the past but thanks to Dee I have realised there are feeding hays and bedding hays and that our rabbits need a variety of feeding hays to stay healthy. Dee has been my go to for ongoing advice and support and just has an amazing amount of knowledge and advice that she willingly shares. PS you just can’t buy better quality food or hays or other products elsewhere! They don’t measure up at all.
